Exams on paper
you never print.

Buariwa lets schools and exam centres run examinations on tablets and PCs. Students write by hand on an endless page, questions stay locked until the paper starts, and examiners mark the original handwriting in red pen.

What Buariwa does

Handwriting, not typingStudents write and draw with a stylus or finger, with shapes, equations and palm rejection. Multiple choice and fill-in questions mark themselves.
Nothing to leakQuestions stay locked on the school's own server until the examiner releases the paper. No printing press, no copies.
Red-pen markingExaminers mark on the student's own handwriting on a tablet, anywhere, and release marked scripts to students when ready.
Live invigilationThe invigilator sees who is writing, who left the app and who asks to leave, from one PC.
Runs at the schoolThe exam server runs on a PC in the school. It works without internet; scripts are saved to the school's Google Drive.
From home, when allowedStudents can see marked scripts and write papers the examiner allows from home, with just a school code.

How Buariwa uses Google

A school administrator or examiner can connect a Google account so that Buariwa saves a copy of each submitted script and question paper to Google Drive. Buariwa asks only to create and manage the files it makes (in a folder called “Buariwa School”) and to see the account's email address. Read the privacy policy for details.

Who it is for

Senior and junior high schools, colleges, training institutions and exam centres. Buariwa is used by students and staff of those institutions; accounts are created by each school's administrator.
